Moved by the current ecological crisis, Darwin has returned to Earth with an experiment, Stato Vegetale, to save human beings from extinction. The experiment is a performance that invites the audience to get into the body of a plant, to learn its survival skills. Anyone can participate in Stato Vegetale: you will perform the performance live, from your own home, following Darwin's instructions. We also invite you to join the experience, even if you don't want to actively participate.

Plants live during their whole life a similar condition to ours, during Covid 19 quarantines: them, stuck in their pots, and us, stuck at our homes. Stato Vegetale helps us to explore which movements are still possible even when staying stuck. We will share our words, our actions and our body with a houseplant, in order to listen what they have to tell us, so to get inspired and shape our visions for the post-pandemic world.
